Fitment and installation

John Deere's TerrainCut front-mower guide lists TCA21758 for the 62-inch rear-discharge deck on 1550, 1570, 1575, 1580 and 1585. Confirm the exact mower and deck identification, serial number, discharge configuration and original gearbox number. Compare the mounting pattern, input and output connections, shaft and pulley interfaces against your original assembly. A shared mower model or deck width alone does not establish gearbox compatibility.

Earlier-listed 1420, 1435, 1445, 1545 and 1565 applications require confirmation against the original TCA21758 / DE18615 gearbox reference and model/serial-specific deck parts diagram.

Deere's guide identifies TCA24776 for 60-inch side discharge, TCA21759 for 72-inch side discharge and TCA22077 for 72-inch rear discharge. Those numbers are separate deck references; interchangeability with FLIP 708076 has not been verified.
