This Privacy Policy explains how Flip Manufacturing collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit flipmfg.com, place an order, contact us or use our online chat.

Information we collect and how we use it

When you shop with us, we collect information you provide, such as your name, contact details, shipping and billing addresses, order details and communications with our team. We use this information to process payments, fulfill and track orders, handle returns, answer questions, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

When you browse our site, Shopify and the services described below may collect your IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring pages and interactions with the store. We use this information to operate and secure the store, understand how it is used and measure or personalize advertising, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.

If you choose to receive marketing emails, you can unsubscribe using the link in an email or contact us. A purchase or customer-service request does not itself sign you up for marketing emails.

Shopify, checkout and AI-assisted chat

Our online store and checkout are hosted by Shopify. Shopify and the payment providers available at checkout process the information needed to complete and protect your transaction. Their handling of personal information is also described in their own privacy policies. We use Shopify Network Intelligence. Shopify combines information from interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify to provide services such as security, advertising and personalization. Information is shared with Shopify and other providers, which may be located in other countries. You can learn about Shopify's processing and exercise choices directly through the Shopify privacy portal, as well as the store controls described below.

AI-assisted chat

We use Shopify to power AI-assisted chat on our online store. Shopify processes customer data, including chat communications, to generate responses and improve the quality of the Inbox agent over time. Services and partners that receive information

We share information with providers that help operate our business, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, customer-service tools and review services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or in connection with a business transfer.

Our store uses the following services for analytics, advertising or reviews:

  • Google: Google Analytics and the Google & YouTube channel help us understand store activity and measure advertising. Google Customer Reviews separately asks customers whether they want to receive a post-purchase survey.
  • Meta: The Facebook & Instagram integration supports advertising measurement and targeted advertising.
  • Microsoft: The Microsoft advertising integration supports advertising measurement and targeted advertising.
  • Judge.me: Judge.me supports product reviews and related review activity.

Advertising partners may receive device identifiers, browsing and interaction data, and customer or order information made available through our integrations. They may combine information with data from their own services. Disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising may be considered a sale or sharing of personal information under some privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged. Your choices are described below.

Our providers may process information in the United States, Canada or other countries. Information transferred to another country may be subject to that country's laws and lawful access requests.

Cookies and similar technologies

We and our partners, including Shopify, use cookies, pixels and similar technologies. These serve different purposes:

  • Necessary: Keeping items in your cart, operating checkout, protecting the store and remembering privacy choices.
  • Preferences: Remembering settings and personalizing your experience.
  • Analytics: Understanding visits, store interactions and performance.
  • Marketing: Measuring advertising and showing more relevant advertisements.

Your cookie and advertising choices

Use Cookie preferences in the site footer to review or change your consent choices. Where our consent banner is shown, you can accept, decline or manage optional cookies. Necessary technologies remain available so the store and checkout can work. You can continue shopping when you decline optional cookies.

Use Your Privacy Choices in the site footer to access the data-sharing opt-out page and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising through the store's privacy controls. Where applicable, we honor supported browser opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control. These choices are generally specific to your browser and device; you may need to repeat them on another browser or device, or after clearing cookies.

You can also control cookies through your browser. Blocking all cookies may affect the cart, checkout or other store features. Privacy choices do not stop information processing needed to fulfill an order, protect the store or meet legal obligations.

Privacy requests and retention

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, receive a copy of or request deletion of personal information, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures. You do not need to create an account to use the store's data-sharing opt-out controls.

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining business records, resolving disputes and meeting legal obligations. Withdrawing optional consent does not require deletion of records we must retain for those purposes.

Security, children and other websites

We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure. Payment providers have their own security and retention practices.

Our store is intended for adults buying replacement parts. It is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed.
