Complete Gearbox, Gearset, or Rebuild Kit?

Flip Manufacturing offers aftermarket gearbox assemblies and repair components. The right option depends on your exact equipment, the parts that need attention, and the contents of the listing.

Complete gearbox

A complete gearbox listing is for an assembly. Review the product page for what comes assembled and which external parts, mounting hardware, or lubricant are included or excluded. Check its replacement numbers, compatible equipment, serial notes, and available shaft, connection, or ratio details.

Gearset

A gearset listing supplies the gears described on that product page. It does not establish that bearings, seals, shafts, or a housing are included. Match the exact application and any published tooth, shaft, or serial details, then review the included-parts list.

Bearing, seal, or rebuild kit

A service kit contains its listed components. Some kits contain bearings, seals, shims, and hardware without gears, shafts, housing, or oil. The words “rebuild kit” alone do not tell you the contents; use the product's included-parts list and exclusions.

What to compare before ordering

  • Equipment: machine and attachment model, serial number, and original gearbox number.
  • Repair needs: identify which components need replacement. Use the equipment manufacturer's service information or a qualified repair technician when diagnosis or installation details are unclear.
  • Exact contents: confirm the parts and quantities provided, along with anything you need to order separately.
  • Fitment: compare each option's own model list, replacement or serviced-assembly references, and application notes. A related-product link is a starting point for comparison.
  • Installation: follow the applicable service information. Use product-specific published lubricant and setup requirements; ask for help when a requirement is missing.

A reference labeled “assembly serviced” describes the assembly a kit is intended to repair. It does not mean the kit replaces the complete assembly. Likewise, products appearing together in search results or related links may cover different configurations.
