About this replacement part

This aftermarket gearbox gear case is a replacement housing for the mower deck gearbox on compatible John Deere 60-inch deck applications. It supports and protects the gearbox components so the deck drive can transmit power properly to the blades.

The gear box was installed and appears to be working

The gear box was installed and appears to be working. The only issue I had is that it arrived with gear oil in the plastic bag. I tightened the bolts and hope that leaking is not a future issue. The company seems to be very responsible and will handle that if it is an issue.
