Gearbox Fits Cub Cadet Yanmar SC2400 MM60RSe Replaces 1A7880-99900 YS-717-04528

Picked this up to replace the Cub Cadet YS-717-04528 GEARBOX on the 60" mower deck. The part fit perfectly and was a breeze to install. Thank you Flip MFG!

Absolutely quality made. Fit perfect. Have mowed 5 acres with gearbox on mm60rse mower deck and no issues. It is better than original gearbox.

Everything lined up like the original gearbox. Quality was actually better than original. Everything works great.

I have a 2008 Cub Cadet with a 60” mower deck. The deck is shaft driven off the tractor PTO (in lieu of a belt and pulley). The gear box failed - bearings went bad. I went to the dealer. The Dealer no longer supports this component. I started looking into purchasing a used deck but was concerned of spending hundreds of dollars and possibly ending up either another bad gearbox. So I searched the web and came across Flip Manufacturing out of Texas that offered a new replacement- apparently their own brand - not related to Cub Cadet. It wasn’t cheap for a 6” square “box”, and I was concerned about giving my credit card number to a company called “Flip”. But they came through, the unit arrived in just a few days and it fits and operates flawlessly. If I hadn’t come across Flip, my tractor would just be a useless “go cart”.

This part was a perfect fit. The dimensions were identical to the original part. It took a couple to install. Definitely need to remove the mower deck for easiest installation. Will also require you to remove the gear box bracket. Once installed I added the gearbox oil (80 weight). It worked great. I cut 2 acres of grass with no issues. Thank goodness began making this part. I could not find one anywhere. Saved me from having to buy a new tractor.
