FLIP 704740 is an aftermarket mower deck spindle shaft weldment by Flip Manufacturing for listed Ariens and Gravely applications. It replaces spindle shaft reference 01582400 in the applicable blade spindle system. This shaft component is used during repair of the mower deck spindle; it is not a complete spindle assembly or a genuine Ariens or Gravely part.
What is included
Includes one spindle shaft weldment with the welded flange shown in the product photos. Spindle housing, bearings, pulley, blade and separate mounting hardware are not included. Check the related spindle components for wear or damage when planning the repair.
Fitment and installation
Listed Ariens applications include EZR zero-turn mower models 915013, 915017, 915018, 915022, 915307 and 915308, plus YT lawn tractor models 936032, 936033, 936035, 936315, 936319, 936320 and 936330. Listed Gravely ZT zero-turn mower models are 915015, 915019 and 915024.
Confirm OEM reference 01582400 in your model- and serial-specific mower deck parts diagram before ordering. Compare the original shaft, welded flange, bearing surfaces, blade attachment and pulley connection with the replacement shown. A shared model family or 42-inch deck size alone does not confirm fitment. Model 915013 has serial-number-specific parts manuals, so use the manual that matches your machine.
