Gearbox housing, gears, shafts and a complete gearbox assembly are not included. Inspect the existing gearbox before choosing a rebuild. Verify that the included components address the parts that need replacement.

Check the deck and gearbox number

Match the installed deck identification and K5617-33102 gearbox application. For a GR2110 tractor, confirm the matching RCK54GR deck; the tractor model alone does not confirm fit. Compare the original components and their part numbers with the included-parts list before ordering. If the gearbox carries an older or different number, use the fitment help on this page to confirm the internal parts needed.
Rebuild preparation
Follow the service manual for your exact deck for bearing and seal installation, shim selection, clearances, fastener torque and lubrication. Record the original component arrangement during disassembly and inspect the housing, gears and shafts before reusing them.
Confirm the required lubricant and oil level before operating the rebuilt gearbox. Check for leaks and verify correct operation following the service manual. Rebuilding may require bearing-service tools and measurement; assess the work before choosing a kit.
