This aftermarket steering cylinder is a replacement part for compatible John Deere 2-wheel-steer lawn tractors with power steering. It helps move the steering linkage as hydraulic pressure is applied, restoring normal steering control when the original cylinder is worn, leaking, or damaged.

This cylinder is made to match the original replacement style for proper mounting and steering function. It is the 8mm spring-hole version, so the pin on the body of your existing cylinder must be 8mm for this part to fit correctly.
Installation
Installation is a straightforward bolt-up job when your machine uses the matching 8mm pin style. Use normal hand tools, compare the old cylinder before mounting, and follow your service manual for hydraulic line removal, fluid level checks, and bleeding the power steering system if needed.
