This aftermarket gearbox is a replacement for select Scag mower deck applications. It is part of the deck drive system and transfers power through the deck gearbox to keep the blades running as intended. Use it when the original gearbox is worn, leaking, noisy, or has failed.

This gearbox is built as a faithful aftermarket replacement for the original deck gearbox layout. The mounting points, shaft locations, and overall configuration are made to match the factory-style setup for proper alignment on the deck. Finish and construction are intended for normal commercial mower deck service.
Installation
Installation is a bolt-up replacement when matched to the correct mower deck application. Standard shop tools are typically used to remove the old gearbox and install the replacement, with no cutting or fabrication expected. Check pulley alignment and fastener tightness before returning the mower to service.
